Prezados colegas, por estes tempos ando reorganizando a kitcumba e a gente vai descobrindo algumas coisas as vezes desagradáveis.
Tenho uma seleção de kits AFV da Matchbox 1/76 já pertencente da Revell AG (Germany), a Revell AG comprou a marca e moldes, e os reinjetou na década de 80. Manipulando os kits que na maior parte não foram montados notei que o plástico esta quebradiço e que as lagartas quase viraram pó.
Guardo os kits em ambiente seguro e controlado e tenho alguns dos mesmos kits mas da época "Made in England" que estão em perfeito estado.
Mandei um email para a Revell AG criticando o fato e me deram uma resposta tipo "cara-de-pau" dizendo que foi erro meu de conservação, etc...
Mandei uma resposta dizendo que não se fazem mais produtos de qualidade e que os produtos alemães não são como eram até pouco depois da guerra, estes chucrutes só visam o lucro...

many thanks for your mail and the included complaint to our "old" items. We can tell you, that end of the 80´s we ran all the production at ourselves here in Buende and all the time we used really fine material from famous manufacturers like "Hoechst", "Hüls" or "Bayer". We never used second-hand or third-hand material. Mostly it´s a problem of storing the models. You must know, our material, especially with the tracks, include some kind of softener. And any kin d of sunshine craetes a chemical reaction, so that the material "dries out" and breaks later. But that´s something we can´t influence. Regarding the damaged parts now you only can wait until we are re-issuing those items again and the,n ask for spare parts. As long as we don´t have it in our range again, you have to check the Internet for old items, we are really sorry for that. Also, please check our actual range, perhaps there is another 1/76 scale model available, from which you can take the tracks.

Digo cara-de-pau porque em algumas árvores vem impresso "Made in China" que colocaram por cima do "Made in England", e o cara ainda diz que foi feito por lá...
Será que todos os produtos injetados pela Revell AG ficam quebradiços após 25 ou mais anos??? Já pensaram naquele kit montado com o maior capricho e que vira pó depois de 20 anos?...
