Dizem por aí que o Mini Hobby é cópia do Tamiya com a parte inferior do casco (full hull).
Comentário na Model Warship respondendo a alguém que fez a mesma pergunta.
"No, they are worse. The Mini-Hobbies are terrible. The CV6 version is full hull, and utterly incorrect, especially in the rear. It makes the Trumpeter hull look godly. In many ways its a reboxed Tamiya kit, many parts on the sprues are exact copies as found in the Tamiya kits. A few differences can be found like the planes and hull. However, quality is much lower. Ill see if I can find some pictures for you.
Here's a well built one, but look at the hull, especially at the stern's drop off at the waterline
