This is Revell's 48th Mosquito.
Its a strange old kit, some really lovely detail, cockpit, bombay, the transparencies are thin and very clear, though the side panels are separate and a bit of a fiddle to fit.
They include a pair of Merlins if you want to display them, and all the control surfaces are separate.
But the fit is a bit iffy in places, especially the engine nacelles.
To get a good fit around the rear end needed a lot of filling and sanding.
The spinners don't seem quite right to me and the undercarriage legs are missing the door guides, but still its a Mosquito and I like Mosquitos!

I used Xtra Colour and Humbrol enamels and the decals are out of the box.
I am now going to get my 24th Mossie out of the stash and have a few hours of quiet contemplation.
Thanks for looking.
