Make slow but steady progress on this one. Decided to scratch build an anchor after seeing one in a digital image elsewhere. Pretty happy with the results. Repainted his eye as well as it looked to small to me. Used disks punch from decal for the outer edge, iris (which I painted over to give it some depth) and another one for the pupil I liked the results much better than trying to paint them. Still a ways to go yet. Thanks for looking. "Q" happy.gif

and calling it done. I debated adding a "Spinachk" label to the can, but think I'll leave it be for now. The eye still looks a little white from the gloss coat, but it is clearing up nicely. Thanks for looking. "Q" happy.gif

Concordo em relação à âncora. Apagou a lata de espinafre, definidora do personagem.

Excelente trabalho.

Making good progress on my Popeye bust. Painted the can with Alclad Chrome and ended up with more of a polished steel or tin look which I like better. The anchor rusting is a lengthy process, but it is paying off. Painted his pipe this evening in acrylics and oils...will let this dry over night and add some refinements to it once dry. Not much left to do. Hoping to be completed for Wonderfest next week end. happy.gif
