Já tive péssimas experiências com kits da Mach 2, nos tempos que eu montava pra terceiros...  Mas como dito, a evolução pra melhor é possivel,  contudo ainda acho melhor que resina.  Se bem que na 1/72 não tem muita margem pra grosserias...

Há um Mr Tom, modelista no Britmodeller, que comentou, sobre o lançamento do Avro :

"Some of the earlier Mach 2 kits were pretty taxing in terms of accuracy, finesse and fit, but I’ve built both the 1/72 DC-8 and 727 recently and they were pretty straightforward. Granted, they ain’t no Tamiya, but they go together OK…

The only real issue is the transparencies - they are pretty rough and I took the easier route and used decals. However, I did experiment with the DC-8 cockpit and with some careful sanding and polishing, it did come up quite well to be fair.

Let’s hope the 748 follows the recent trend where each seems to be an improvement over the last - I may well bite the bullet and get one just for the fun of it. In all honesty, when you buy a Mach 2 kit you know what you’re getting so there’ll be no complaints from me. "
